Winter PE Is Coming!! Scholarship Information Below

Hello TSD families,

Winter PE planning is underway for the 2026 - 2027 school year. This five-week program will run from January 5th, 2027 to February 4th, 2027 giving every TSD student the opportunity to spend one day each week participating in the winter activity of their choice. Each school administers its Winter PE program independently, with offerings tailored to the appropriate age group. 

Telluride Elementary

• Winter PE on Tuesdays

• Programs include Telski Ski PE, TSSC (2nd grade) and Skart (Ah Haa and Ice Skating)

• Prices for the programs range from $345 - $980

Telluride Intermediate

• Winter PE on Wednesdays

• Programs include Telski Ski PE, TSSC, Gymnastics, Nordic and Soccer

• Prices for the programs range from $200 - $1080

Telluride Middle/High

• Winter PE all day on Thursdays (new this year!)

• Programs include Telski Ski PE, TSSC, Climbing, CrossFit and Dance

• Prices for the programs range from Free - $1080

To help families with the financial burden of these programs, the district provides Winter PE scholarships to families district-wide with priority given to families who qualify for Free and Reduced Lunch (FRL). Families who believe they may qualify are encouraged to complete the attached application and email it to jstewart@telluride.k12.co.us, or submit it to their school’s Front Office Administrator no later than October 1, 2026.

The school district has scholarship funds for families who do not qualify for FRL, and we encourage all interested families to apply regardless of eligibility status. The Free and Reduced Lunch application is not the Winter PE Scholarship application. The Winter PE scholarship application will be available on October 15, 2026.

In the meantime, it is important that all families who qualify for FRL have submitted the FRL application to the school.
