We kicked off "Miner Bees Have Manners" today as our PBIS focus for September. This year, our students will be collecting "charms" on a keychain that will be on their backpacks. This month, the students can earn a "High Five" charm for showing great manners. Our goal will be that all students will have many charms visible on their backbacks by the end of the year. See pictures below from our Miner Bee Meeting! It was great to see so many students with their "Proud to Be A Miner Bee" shirts! TES has spirit!!!

AMERICANISM ESSAY 
Question for this year’s contest: What does Service to your Country Mean to You?
Essay Length: NO MORE than 300 words
Four Divisions 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th grade students
Lodge Awards for 1st through 3rd place are TBD
National Awards for each grade: $1,000 1st, $500 2nd, $250 3rd
