Hello awesome TES families! We want to hear from YOU about the emotional climate at TES! Click HERE to complete our short parent survey (encuesta para padres en Espanol). Complete the survey by May 10th to be entered for a drawing for a $25 GIFT CARD to Clark's! 🙂

Also, students K-2 will be having a lesson on safe vs. unsafe touch beginning in mid-May. This will empower students to know when touch crosses over to inappropriate/unsafe and how to speak up and tell safe adults. If you would like to opt your child out of this lesson, or ask more about the lesson content, please email: egardner@telluride.k12.co.us by Wednesday May 15th!

It has been an absolute joy having so many of you into the gym this year... so let's do it one more time!

We will be celebrating Star Wars week with a throwing game during the first of the two classes and an introduction to fencing (with lightsabers) the second class.

Off Season SMART bus schedule
SMART is currently updating the 2019 Strategic Operating Plan which will help guide expansions and improvements to SMART"s services in the future. From public input collected this winter and data analysis of current operations, SMART has drafted a list of preliminary service improvements and expansion and would like your feedback at open houses starting April 30th.

District Literacy Team Meeting – Monday, May 6th from 3:30-5pm

Come learn about literacy at Telluride Schools! We will focus on three key topics at this meeting:

Update on assessment and curriculum implementation this year
Overview of professional learning opportunities for teachers, leadership and collaboration in literacy
Discuss family and community involvement in literacy

This will be a great time for parents and community members to learn more about how teachers are using the Science of Reading to better meet student needs in reading. We will meet at TIS in Room 103.
